SELECTION PROCESS

Admission to the MBA Programme shall be conducted in accordance with the norms and guidelines prescribed by the University. The selection process follows an integrated and non-eliminatory multi-component evaluation framework as below:

Registered eligible applicants are required to participate in three stage evaluation process:

• PIMR Admission Test (Mandatory)
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

After appearing, the final merit list will be prepared based on consolidated scoresheet based on:

• a. PIMR admission Test Score
• b. Performance in Group Discussion
• c. Performance in Personal Interview
• d. Past Academic Performance, which shall include marks obtained in Class X, Class XII, and Graduation.

For the purpose of merit preparation, the higher percentile score obtained either in the PIMR admission Test or in any of the national level/State level management entrance examination like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA etc. shall be considered.

The Institute may award additional weightage in case of candidature having:

• Participation and achievements in Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities
• Professional Qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CMA/CS
• Relevant Full-Time Work Experience (Weightage for work experience shall be granted only for full-time, paid employment, as per the norms prescribed by the University).
