Survey the Slum area for the Education Awareness Campaign

The data obtained from the survey will serve as a foundation for developing and implementing effective literacy programs. Student Volunteers made the final list of batch on 8 Aug 2024 and classes of literacy mission commenced on 9 Aug 2024.

From August 1-5, 2024, Literacy Mission volunteers surveyed a slum area to identify potential students aged 8-14 for literacy programs. Students created survey forms, enrollment, and declaration forms for data collection. Batch lists were made, categorizing students by age and interest.

Despite initial challenges, including language barriers and parental reluctance, the team successfully collected information on potential beneficiaries. The volunteers successfully collected data from a significant number of households, providing valuable insights into the educational needs of the community.
