I would like to pen down my thoughts today, on Teacher’s day. I recall the great journey we had at PIMR which helped us shape our future. Our gurus who exposed us to the world of management, nurtured our thoughts and helped us be a better human. We owe our success to this incubation machine called PIMR. We wish our best to all who follow us in this academic journey.

To be the student of the first batch of MBA (Full Time), the excitement and bonding was tremendous. The institute hired best faculty and offered us lots of learning opportunities including external faculty for evening lectures and OJTs with numerous industry visits. The list is long and helped a lot in self-development as a true management professional. Being one of the Placement Coordinators, I learnt a lot of network skills, which are now boon to my successful sales and marketing career.

“Life” at PIMR is always remembered as a complete makeover in my personality. I went in to gain knowledge and a degree, I graduated with much more. “Life” at PIMR helped me build my Character, Attitude & overall Persona, which are key to success professionally and personally.

I stress on “Life”, because at PIMR, we “Lived”… .the warm-hearted Promoters, dynamic Director/ Professors, ever-energetic Peers…..as family…..holistically…..forming some really beautiful bonds for a lifetime. PIMR provides a perfect bridge from student life to corporate world, with relevant knowledge, skills & tools to maximize one’s potential and become a leader.

I was fortunate and privileged to be a part of the 1st batch of BBA ( 1994-97) and also to be in the august company of a revered faculty. The time I spent with PIMR has helped immensely not only in the professional space but, in the life at large, as well. Embracing success and failure with equal poise was one learning that I clearly imbibed from my stint with PIMR. Cannot thank PIMR enough for the huge role they continue to play in shaping the future of all the aspirants, just like they did for me 26 years ago.

The BBA program first stood out to me because the professors and students come from a variety of backgrounds, and I believe that this leads to valuable insights. I was able to learn about all kinds of businesses and national cultures through both course content and my peers. I was a science student before I joined my under graduate course and there was a bit fear that how I would be able to manage the course. To my delight, the pedagogy was at its best and the teachers took personal interests to train their wards like me who had no knowledge of business studies. By the time I was in sophomore there was no fear and I was ready to be a part of corporate world.
