Dr. Sachin K. Mittal brings with him over 25 years of rich experience in teaching,
financial analysis, research, and academic administration. He has previously served
as Professor at N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research
(NLDIMSR), Mumbai, and has held academic positions at Woxsen School of
Business, Hyderabad; Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore; Prestige Institute of
Management and Research (PIMR), Indore; and IPS Academy, Indore. He has
successfully guided nine Ph.D. scholars at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV),
Indore.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Mittal has presented papers at leading national and
international conferences and published extensively in reputed ABDC, Web of
Science, and Scopus-indexed journals. He is the author of Excel for Managers
(Sybgen Publishers) and has developed several management case studies published
by Ivey Publishing, The Case Centre, and academic journals.
His academic excellence has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the
Dewang Mehta Most Influential Professor Award (2023), Best Teacher Award from
Jaipuria Institute (2017), and Best Teacher Award from Prestige Institute (2012). He
is also an experienced corporate trainer, having conducted numerous Management
Development Programmes (MDPs), including specialized training for SEBI officers.
His industry exposure includes working with K. K. Patel Finance Limited.
His teaching interests include Cost and Management Accounting, Financial
Management, Financial Derivatives, Corporate Credit Appraisal, and Financial
Modelling.
