Recruitment Process
The recruitment process is conducted by the Training and Placement Cell, Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore. This cell provides basic infrastructural facilities for the students to have industry and corporate connect. It helps students to groom themselves on professional front so that they become apt for hiring. These training and placement activities are organized throughout the year for preparing the prospective students for internships and placement drives. Â
The following steps are followed by the training and placement cell to streamline the recruitment process for the recruiter as well as the students.
STEP 1
Initial communication with the recruiter
The training and placement cell invites potential recruiters and industry connects to the campus after sharing student’s academic, co-curricular and personal information with them.Â
STEP 2
Pre placement talks
We encourage pre-placement talks by the recruiter with the interested candidates so that pre placement talk can provide opportunities for the students to learn more about recruiters including their needs, necessities and career prospects.
STEP 3
Pre interview screening process
If the recruiter requires, a pre interview screening process may be conducted prior to the final interview. This process may include group discussions, telephonic interviews, handwritten questionnaires and any another process recommended by the recruiter.
STEP 4
Final interview
After the pre placement talk and pre-interview screening, the recruiter is required to submit a list of shortlisted candidates for final interview. The recruiter may also create a waiting list of students, who may be interviewed if the selected applicant is unavailable for the interview.
