Dr. Debasis Mallik is a visionary leader and an academician par excellence who is currently heading PIMR as a Senior Director since April 2022. He is B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics with Mathematics & Statistics from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, M. Sc. in Economics (secured 2nd Rank in first class) with specialization in Statistics and Econometrics from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal (1994), Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, (January 2004). Title of his thesis is “Problem of Water Management in Some Selected Cities in India”. Before joining PIMR, he was associated with S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai, India (2004 to March 2022). Over the last 12 years at SPJIMR, he has been a Professor and Head, International Relations. He successfully started and headed the renowned Global Management Program (GMP) at SPJIMR in collaboration with eight Business Schools in the US and Europe, since 2010. During his tenure at SPJIMR, he successfully started and headed SPJIMR's journal - SAMVID, created global collaborations for SPJIMR with triple-crown B-Schools, nurtured and improved existing international collaborations, enhanced two-way students' exchange, faculty exchange and research collaborations.
His areas of expertise as a teacher include Quantitative Methods, Multivariate Techniques, Business Research Methodology, and Microeconomics. He has been a visiting faculty at Nyenrode Business Universiteit, Amsterdam (Applied Statistics for Business Research) and SP Jain School of Global Management (Dubai and Singapore Campuses) and EBS Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
He was also the Dean at Russell Square International College (May 2008 - March 2009 - Sabbatical), where he was responsible for launching a I-year MBA Program in Quantitative Finance in 2009. The MBA program was conceptualized as a “Blue Ocean Strategy” in India to meet customized corporate requirements. The successful implementation of the project depended on the right collaborations and faculty from India and the US. He was also the Program Coordinator of the flagship PGDM Program (2-year Full Time PGDM). Prior to joining SPJIMR, Dr. Mallik was a Consultant at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad at the Center for Analytical Finance at Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, for a short stint of two years.
Even before that, Dr. Mallik was engaged as a Faculty & Member of the Central Editorial Team, ICFAI University Press, at the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Hyderabad. Apart from his responsibilities in managing the flagship magazine Global Analyst, he was also actively involved in academic coordination among the various subjects offered as part of the CFA curriculum, conducting sessions in Economics (Micro and Macro) and Quantitative Methods for MBA and CFA students at the Icfaian Business School (IBS), Hyderabad.
His key areas of interest are Quantitative Modeling, Project Risk Management, and Family Managed Business. His research has been published in various renowned international journals in the areas of Urban Water Management, Project Management, Conflicts in Family Business, Succession Planning, and so on.
Prof. (Dr.) Colonel Subramanian Raman Iyer commanded an Infantry Battalion and last served the Indian Army as Instructor - Directing Staff- Class 'A' of DSSC, Wellington. He was Senior Vice President of GSFC Ltd. Asst. General Manager of Torrent Power Ltd and CEO of CACD India. He provided academic leadership in three different Universities, culminating as Vice Chancellor, Indus International University, Himachal Pradesh. He is presently Director-UG Campus, PIMR, Indore. His research interests are in the fields of Strategy, HR, Business Laws, Supply Chain, Corporate Governance, CSR and Sustainability. He is also a keen mountaineer, Skier and Marathon runner and is committed to bringing about excellence in Higher Education. He is PhD and MBA from IIT Kharagpur; M.Phil., MA (Economics) and M.Sc (Defence Studies) from Madras University and LLB from Delhi University.
Dr. Prateek Sharma is an XLRI graduate in to Management and Ph.D. in Economics. He has more than 17 years of work experience in Teaching and Training and has also worked closely with different manufacturing and service industries in the areas of International Business, Skills & Competencies, QMS & Six Sigma, HR & OD, and Entrepreneurship. He has developed several Career counseling tools for students and staff for developing competencies and enhancing careers. He has formulated several formative assessments and assessment platforms for assessing the competencies under National Skill Development Mission in the areas Telecom & IT. He has also conducted several workshops and delivered lectures on platforms like WTO Forum. His research focus is on International Trade, Economics, and HRM.
Dr. Raja Roy Choudhury is a futuristic and forward looking leader with 34 years of global experience and track record of striving in uncertainty, curiosity & challenges. He has joined Prestige Institute of Management and Research recently as Dean with his rich qualifications and experience. Dr. Alok Banal has been associated with Prestige Institute of Management & Research (PIMR), Indore since July, 2005 and presently working as Professor and Head, Systems and QT Department. He has Seventeen years of teaching experience and one year of Industry experience.
His areas of interest include Information Systems, IT for Managers, Business Research Methods and Decision Making Skills. He has more than sixty publications to his credit. He is a recognized Ph.D. Guide of Management in Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Six Ph.D. degrees were awarded under his guidance. He has also published four monographs based on IT namely: Information Technology Security; Artificial Intelligence Applications; Enterprise Applications and Online Applications of Information Technology in the year 2006. He joined the Institute on August 08, 2007 As a Reader. Currently he is a Professor and Head (HR and General Management) at the Institute. He is an approved Ph.D. guide in Management for DAVV, Indore. Eleven research scholars have done Ph.D. under his guidance. He has more than twenty three years of teaching experience along with industrial experience in the Personnel Department. He has been awarded “Best Teacher” by PIMR in International Conference held in 2009. His areas of interest include Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Industrial Relations and Labour Laws, Organisation Behaviour. He was an Organizing Secretary for Second International Conference 08 at PIMR. He was Coordinator for National Research Methodology and National Case Writing Workshops at PIMR. He has attended several conferences and his many papers have been published in reputed Journals like VISION (Journal of MDI Gurgaon) and Journal of XLRI etc., His papers have been published in ABDC and Scopus listed journals. He is Ph.D. and MBA with 16 years of rich & extensive experience in Education. His area of specialization is International Business. He has done his doctoral work on Indo-Australian Bilateral trade. His area of interest is International Business. He has joined PIMR on 01 February 2017. Previous to this, he has 16 years of teaching experience. He has occupied the position of Director of Medicaps Techno-Management from 2011 till 2014 in which he headed Department of MCA, MBA (Foreign Trade), MBA (MM) and MBA (FT) 60 seats and after that took over as Director of Apex Institute of Management and Research, Indore for two years. He was also elevated as Professor under college code 28 of DAVV University during his services at Medicaps Techno-Management. He was visiting faculty at DAVV University for MBA (Foreign Trade) students in year 2008. He is a member of Board of Studies at Medicaps University. He is a carrier counselor and was in the interview panel of many selection committees. He has remained on the board of various institutions and has guided them in the establishment. He has been involved with the establishment, exports and international marketing of a few export companies. He has conducted a training session for employees of export companies. He is a registered PhD guide at three different universities of India- Devi Ahilya University Indore, Punjab Technical University and Dr. K.N. Modi University, Rajasthan in the departments of Management, Future studies and commerce. He has eight research scholars registered under him, out of whom five research scholars have already been awarded Ph.D by the university. Dr. Deepak Jaroliya is Professor in the area of Systems and Analytics with Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore. He is In-charge of Internal Quality Assurance Cell since 2012 and successfully handled NAAC Accreditation Process consecutively three times and Institute accredited in First Cycle (2009) with Grade A (CGPA 3.11), Second Cycle (2014) with Grade A (CGPA 3.33) and Third Cycle (2021) with Grade A++ (CGPA 3.57). Professor Jaroliya has also acted as Nodal Officer for Governance Benchmarking Activity 2019-20, where PIMR, Indore being identified as the most promising Higher Educational Institution in the State of Madhya Pradesh by Department of Higher Education (M.P. Govt.) in Association with World Bank.
With the quality initiatives of IQAC, Institute acknowledged as Mentor Institution by UGC under UGC PARAMARSH Scheme since 2019 and presently, Professor Jaroliya is also working as Accreditation Ambassador as per UGC PARAMARSH Scheme since 2019 and mentoring seven NAAC Aspiring government institutions in the state of M.P. In the able guidance, IQAC conducted Academic and Administrative Audit in 2019 by External Agency MET recognized by State of Gujarat Government and Received A++ Grade in the Audit. In the year 2019, IQAC Organized National Revised Accreditation Workshop in Association with NAAC and it has witnessed more than 100 participants from varied parts of nation. In 2016, IQAC has organized Three Days National Workshop on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Sponsored by NAAC to facilitate the implementation of CBCS System as per UGC Guidelines.

He is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Marketing with the Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore. He joined PIMR on July 1, 2008. He is a recognized Ph.D. Supervisor in the Faculty of Management, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore Since 2010. 7 Research Scholars have been awarded Ph.D. (Management) from DAVV, Indore under his Supervision / Co-Supervision. Currently, 6 candidates are pursuing their Ph. D. under his supervision. He has to his credit more than 40+ research papers in journals, books, and conference proceedings. 5 of his papers have been published in ABDC – A, B & C Ranked, and Scopus Indexed Journals. He has also developed and published 11 Cases in Management. He has presented several research papers at National and International Conferences. Dr. Nitin Tejkumar Tanted is working as a Professor and H.O.D. (Finance) at Prestige Institute of
Management and Research, Indore. He has done his Master’s in Business Economics (MBA-
Business Economics) with Specialization in Finance and thereafter Ph.D. from School of Economics
DAVV, Indore. He is also recognized as a Ph.D. Guide from DAVV University, Indore. Dr. Tanted
has also worked on varied academic positions at IPS Academy, ICFAI & Symbiosis University of
Applied Sciences and gained a rich Academic and training experience of more than 16 Years. His
subjects of interest are Financial Accounting & Management, Security Analysis & Portfolio
Management, Risk Management and Financial Derivatives, Fundamental and Technical analysis,
Financial Modeling using Excel, Financial Planning and others finance and economics oriented
He has attended many National and International Conferences where he has presented research papers in the area of Finance. He has more than 44 research papers to his credit in national , International Journals and Conference books. Dr. Tanted has authored a book on “Management of Foreign Direct Investment in Indian States: with special reference to Madhya Pradesh” which was published by a renowned International publisher of U.K. Along with this he has also written three status paper and newspapers articles on key financial and economic issues which were published in Dainik Bhaskar.
He has cleared NISM Certified modules which mainly include Investment Adviser Level I & Level II, Research Analyst, Interest rate, Currency and Equity Derivatives and Mutual Fund module, National Stock Exchange certificates which mainly include NCFM module of Capital Market, Mutual Fund, Currency and F & O Derivative’s module, Commodity Derivatives module and Insurance module. He was empanelled as a Financial Education Resource Person (M.P. and Chhatisgarh) by Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for Imparting Financial Education and creating awareness among Working Executives, Housewives, School and College going students and Self Employed Persons.
Dr. Tanted is continuously engaged in training in the areas of Mutual funds; Capital Market, Derivatives Market, Financial modeling using Excel, Financial Management, etc. He is selected as a CPE Resource Person (Mutual Fund) by National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) for conducting ARN Renewal Training Program. He has also conducted training programs under the aegis of Armed Police Training Academy, Indra Securities Pvt. Ltd., National Stock Exchange, Union Bank, Axis Bank, CIEL Mumbai, ITM Institute of financial market, Mumbai to name a few. He has conducted an International Training Program for a week in Bangladesh on Advanced Commodity Derivatives.
Dr. Tanted believes that the price of success is hard work, dedication and determination to the job at hand. With this belief he has guided many young and budding managers for taking entrepreneurial assignments. Dr. Tanted has under taken a consultancy assignment for Prestige Feed Mills Ltd where he has analyzed financial statements and prepared a report for getting credit rating from SMERA credit rating agency, Mumbai. He was also a consultant to Shree Company where he has developed a Client risk management mechanism system for client data analysis. Dr. Tanted has also worked as a strategic consultant at Laxmi Land Developers Pvt. Ltd where he has assisted promoters in strategic planning and Preparation of Documents for RERA Registration.
Dr. Nitin Girdharwal is a Professor of Marketing at Prestige Institute of Management &
Research (PIMR) Indore. Prior to this, Dr. Girdharwal was Professor & Head for the School of
Management at Medicaps University, Indore. In the past, Dr. Girdharwal has also served as the
Associate Professor for the MBA program (NBA Accredited ) as well as Head of Research at
KIET Group of Institute, (An NAAC ++ Grade Institute & NIRF Ranking Institute) at Delhi-
NCR , India . He was also the Visiting Faculty at IMT -Ghaziabad. He has been associated with
the organizations like Escorts Ltd Faridabad, Abbott India Limited Mumbai & Macmillan Ltd.

He is on the Board of reviewers of Emeralds Publications, Inderscience Publications, and many more SCI and Scopus Index Journals.
He is also the recipient of Dr. C.V. Raman Award 2019-20 for Best Research Contribution in management science. His two Research papers on “COVID 19” got indexed by WHO in a Global Literature Review. His two Research papers on “Outcome Based Education” got published in World Bank Project. He also has 14 patents published under his credit. He has Authored three books on Business Research Methodology, Introduction to Case Analysis and Campus to Corporate - Skills for Employment, that are taught at MBA level courses of various Indian Universities. He was appointed as a Chief Coordinator by AICTE, New Delhi for the Establishment of Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC) for consecutive two years (2013-14 & 2014-15) & received a Grant of Rs. Five Lakh & Seventy-Five Thousand as a Principal Investigator. He has contributed many articles in Times of India, New Delhi. Dr. Rajesh Jangalwa is Associate Professor with Prestige Institute of
Management and Research, Indore, (M.P.), India. His area of specialization is
Organizational Development, Creativity and Innovation, Management of Change,
Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
Dr. Jangalwa has a rich academic background and has been awarded Doctorate for his research on "Learned Optimism, Managerial Creativity and Spiritual Intelligence as Determinants of Managerial Effectiveness in Service Organization". His Ph. D. work has been interdisciplinary including faculties viz. Management, Service-Industry, Micro-Organizational Behavior, Creativity & Innovation and Spirituality. He has completed his post-graduation in Master of Personnel Administration from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. He is a seasoned academician having total twenty seven years of experience with more than twenty three years of teaching and more than three years of industrial experience.
Besides passion for teaching, Dr. Jangalwa is actively involved in training and consultancy. With more than 120 training programs and 26 consultancies, he was also honored with the first position in the training program in ‘Train the Trainers’ in 2017. He has completed his undergraduate degree in B.Com (Hons.) from International Institute of Professional Studies, Devi Ahilya University.
