About the Program

Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC) is a three-year undergraduate program that focuses on mass media communication, journalism, media concerns, media research, social media, event management, and production. It is a practical oriented program that helps the students to become a media professional. The program provides a dynamic industry based environment which helps students to gain practical exposure with a blend of theory and practical. 

Salient Features

  1. The students get the opportunity to work in several productions like News Bulletin, Radio Podcast, Film and Documentaries, Travelogs, Music Video etc. offered by the Mass Communication Department of the Institute.
  2. The Mass communication Department also hosts Central India’s biggest film festival “Prestige International Film Festival” where students of this program get the opportunity to work and groom themselves.
  3. To make the students industry ready, six certification courses and skill enhancement workshops are conducted.

Upon completion of B.Com Course students are expected to
