Sujay S Phatak, an Assistant Professor of Economics at Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. His research focuses on the economics of education, while his teaching interests encompass macroeconomic analysis and the history of economic thought. He has actively engaged in research projects supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). As a Full-Term Doctoral Fellowship recipient from ICSSR, he has authored numerous articles and book chapters on the economics of education and macroeconomic analysis in India. His book on “Potential of BRTS – with Special Reference to Indore City,” funded by a UGC XII plan grant, highlights his multidisciplinary approach. With a teaching portfolio covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, History of Economic Thought, and Mathematics for Economics, Mr. Phatak also supervises student research projects and holds memberships in various reputed societies, including the Royal Economic Society, London.
