PIMR has established Centers of Excellence (CoEs), with specific and well placed objectives. It is a prevalent, impactful and valuable practice in today’s academic landscape in India and across the world.
These Centers of Excellence are aimed to focus on specific domains, technologies, business objectives, or educational goals, by providing required infrastructure, expertise, technology, and operational support.Â
The primary goal of CoEs is to enhance and excel in specific domains, technologies, business outcomes, or objectives within the educational institution.Â
Establishing newer Centers of Excellence is a continuous process at PIMR.

The Centre incubates and develops innovative startups from idea to implementation. The startups are supported with mentoring, tech-development, business plan development, team building, marketing strategy and funding.
PIMR has established a Center of Excellence for Drone-tech with a focus on advancing the development and application of drone-based technology in upcoming sectors. The primary aim is to propel startups to the forefront of global opportunities.
This CoE encompasses development of service applications like health-tech, fin-tech, and more. SaaS stands out as the most highly esteemed business approach. PIMR has designed a specialized program, "SaaStart," exclusively dedicated to nurturing and supporting SaaS-based business.
In today’s technology-driven VUCA world, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Blockchain have taken the driving seat. To achieve operational excellence, application of IoT, blockchain and predictive modelling have become indispensable. Both academia and the corporate world is realising this need to become future ready. The Centre will not only train students of MBA in areas like Big Data Analytics & Visualization, role of AI & ML techniques and algorithms, prompt engineering, Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of Behaviour (IoB), cybersecurity, AR, VR, MR, Metaverse, but also provide hands on training using cutting-edge software to provide practical training.
PIMR aims to partner with leading analytics firms to create a CoE in data analytics. The partner will provide access to real-world datasets and analytics tools.
PIMR aims to collaborate with leading cybersecurity companies to create a CoE for cybersecurity education and research. The partner will supply the latest cybersecurity software, simulators, and incident data for analysis. This CoE produces cybersecurity experts who help protect critical systems from cyber threats.
PIMR aims to establish a CoE in innovations, in association with a top level company / agency. The partner will provide expertise, and access to use-cases. The CoE will conduct research on innovations which can be sector or problem specific.
PIMR aims to partner with tech giants to create a focused CoE, on key areas like artificial intelligence (AI), clean-tech, etc. The CoE will have cutting-edge hardware and software, conduct regular workshops.
The Center of Excellence for Media and Animations will be a hub of creativity and innovation. It will nurture aspiring artists and animators, fostering a culture of constant learning and skill refinement.
